I came in a little bit late today.  For some reason I was too lazy to get up in the morning and my alarm just keep going and going and going and I left it alone keep buzzing.  I feel exhausted and sleepy.  I eneded up getting up around 7:30AM. Have time to prepare before leaving to work. Battling with back road traffic it could be worse if I drove to I-5.  Anyway, arrived at work around 840am then start working.  Only had 15 minutes lunch since I would like to cover my 30 minutes of time being late. I just have so much stuff to do today that I can barely breath to get things done.  Though it was busy work still fun because I am learning something.

We have Direct TV, but always used a roof top antenna to receive our local channels. Until recently, that is! Now with the advent of digital broadcasting, our antenna system has become an obsolete eyesore, and unless we want to shell out money for a converter box we are without any local channels. DirecTV offers these channels in most areas, but for a fee. We've done a little research to try to find the best deal in both premium channels as well as local ones. We were told by Direct T V, that they could offer our local channels to us for free for 6 months, after which time they would charge for them. The problem is that we've had our system for so long that all of the equipment is paid for and we are no longer under any obligation to use their service. We can cancel at anytime without penalty. However, in order to get our local channels we have to upgrade our equipment, which requires an 18 month contract. We decided to research this decision to see if we could get a better deal elsewhere. That's when I stumbled upon blogtelevision.net. It explains the packages offered and the prices. They even offer the phone number for DirectTV, . The information on this site is wonderfully helpful, and they offer some special packages. So, as it turns out we are sticking with Direct T V and even upgrading our package to include some channels that we didn't have before. Several of the premium channels like HBO, which I just have to have to watch "Big Love," are offered at a special rate for the first 3 months. Why bother with a converter box and a roof top antenna when you can get everything you need with one simple phone call to directtv, ?
